Child Safety Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
For children
- You are safe here. Nobody may hit you, shout at you or make you feel small.
- Your body belongs to you. If a touch feels wrong, say “No”, move away and tell a grown-up you trust.
- No worrying secrets. You can always tell your parents or your Amazing Me teacher.
- Online, never share your address, school name, password or photos in the chat.
- If you ever feel unsafe, tell a parent or call 1098. It is free, day and night.
1. Our promise
Every child at Amazing Me will be safe, respected and included. We do not accept any kind of abuse, physical punishment or humiliation. This policy covers our trainers, staff, volunteers and guest speakers, in offline and online sessions.
2. Safe adults
- Every adult who works with children is checked before they start: identity, references and police verification.
- Every adult is trained in child safety and in the duty to report under the POCSO Act, 2012.
- Every adult signs our code of conduct.
3. Code of conduct for adults
- Never be alone with a child behind a closed door. Activities happen in open, visible spaces.
- No physical punishment, shouting, name-calling or making fun of a child.
- No private messages, calls or social media contact with a child. We talk to parents.
- No photos or videos of children on personal phones.
- Use kind words and appropriate touch only, such as a high-five.
- Treat every child fairly. No special gifts or favours for one child.
4. Offline sessions
- Children are handed over only to a parent or a person the parent has named in writing.
- We take attendance at every session and keep parents’ emergency numbers ready.
- A first-aid kit is available, and parents are called at once if a child is hurt or unwell.
5. Online sessions
- Session links go only to registered parents. Please do not forward them.
- We use a waiting room, and the trainer lets in only registered children.
- Children join with their first name only. Private chat between participants is switched off.
- Children should join from a common room at home, with a parent nearby.
- We do not record sessions unless every parent has agreed in writing.
6. Bullying
We teach kindness and teamwork in every session. If bullying happens, we stop it, speak with the children involved and inform their parents.
7. Every child is welcome
Children of every background and ability are welcome. Tell us what your child needs, and we will make fair adjustments.
8. Reporting a concern
- Anyone with a worry about a child’s safety can contact our Child Safety Lead: 7842168800 or connect@learnknowskills.com.
- We act on the same day. We write down what we were told, in the child’s own words, and we do not question the child further.
- If we suspect abuse, we report it to the Special Juvenile Police Unit or the local police, as Sections 19 and 21 of the POCSO Act require.
- We keep the child’s identity private and inform the parents, unless that would put the child at risk.
- In an emergency, call 112. For help for a child, call 1098.
9. Review
We review this policy every year, and whenever the law changes.

For children
- We ask your parents for only a few details, like your first name and your class.
- We never sell your information, and we never show you adverts.
- Your parents can ask us to delete your details at any time.
1. Who we are
Amazing Me – Learn Know Life is a Sunday life-skills programme by LearnKnow. Contact: 7842168800, connect@learnknowskills.com.
2. What we collect
- Enquiries: parent’s name, phone, email (optional), child’s first name, class, preferred mode and your message.
- At enrolment: emergency contact, and any health or allergy details you choose to share for your child’s safety.
- During the programme: attendance, the child’s level and progress notes, shared with parents.
We do not ask for ID numbers, unless a law requires it.
3. This website
- The website has no sign-up, no adverts and no tracking cookies.
- The enquiry form does not save anything on our website. It opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message, and you choose whether to send it. WhatsApp’s or your email provider’s own terms then apply.
- The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your device’s IP address to deliver them.
4. Parent consent
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025, anyone under 18 is a child. We collect and use a child’s details only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and we may confirm the parent’s identity at enrolment.
5. How we use the information
- To reply to your enquiry and enrol your child.
- To run sessions, share progress with you and keep children safe.
We never sell or rent your information. We never track children, monitor their behaviour online or show them targeted adverts.
6. Photos and videos
- We take or share photos and videos of a child only with the parent’s written consent.
- When we share them, we use first names only and never the child’s school or address. We do not tag children.
- You can withdraw consent at any time, and we will remove the photo or video promptly.
7. Who we share it with
Only with services we use to run the programme, such as video meetings and messaging, and only as needed. We also share information when the law requires it, for example with the police under the POCSO Act.
8. Keeping it safe, and for how long
- Only staff who need the information can see it, and we protect it with reasonable security.
- Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are deleted within 6 months.
- Records of enrolled children are kept while the child is with us and for up to 1 year after, unless a law needs us to keep them longer.
9. Your rights as a parent
You can ask to see, correct or delete your child’s information, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Call or email us, and we will reply within 7 working days.
10. If something goes wrong
If there is ever a data breach, we will inform the affected parents and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
11. Complaints
Contact us first at connect@learnknowskills.com. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
12. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and tell enrolled parents about important changes.

Our class promises
- I am kind to everyone.
- I listen when others speak.
- I try my best. Mistakes help me learn.
- I keep our class safe, online and offline.
- I grow one level at a time.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Amazing Me Sunday sessions and to this website. When a parent or guardian enrols a child, they agree to these terms, to our Child Safety Policy and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can join
Children in classes 3 to 7. A parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over must complete the enrolment.
3. Sessions
- Sessions run every Sunday, 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, online and offline.
- If we need to change a time, venue or trainer, we will tell parents in advance.
- If your child will miss a session, please tell us beforehand.
4. The 10-level growth path
- Each level takes about 6 months.
- Children move up a level through their participation and progress, not through exams.
- Our aim is to build life skills, such as confidence, communication and responsibility, that help children at school now and in their careers later. Every child grows at their own pace.
- Levels and certificates recognise growth in the Amazing Me programme. They are not school or board qualifications.
5. Fees
We share fees, payment dates and refund terms with you in writing before enrolment, and we will not change them for a term once it has started.
6. What we ask of parents
- Give us correct details, and tell us when they change.
- Drop off and pick up your child on time for offline sessions.
- For online sessions, give your child a quiet common room at home, with an adult nearby.
- Tell us about any health needs that could affect your child in class.
- Do not record, screenshot or share sessions or other children.
7. Behaviour in class
We expect every child to follow our class promises. If a child keeps behaving in a way that hurts others, we will first talk with the parents. As a last step, to keep other children safe, we may pause that child’s participation.
8. Online session rules
- Do not share the session link with anyone.
- Join with the child’s registered first name.
- Do not record the session.
9. Health and safety
Please keep your child at home if they are unwell. If a child is hurt or unwell during an offline session, we will give first aid and call the parent straight away.
10. Photos and videos
We take or share photos and videos only with a parent’s written consent. See our Privacy Policy.
11. Our content
Our activities, worksheets and level materials, and the names and logos “Amazing Me” and “LearnKnow”, belong to us. Families may use the materials at home with their child, but may not copy, share or sell them.
12. Social media
Our Instagram page, @learn_know_life, is for parents. Instagram’s own rules require users to be at least 13 years old.
13. Our responsibility
We take reasonable care of every child in our sessions. We are not responsible for personal belongings brought to sessions. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.
14. Leaving the programme
A parent may withdraw their child at any time by telling us. We may end an enrolment if these terms are seriously broken, or if a child’s safety requires it.
15. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
